Thallo

Thallo was a daughter of Zeus and Themis. She was one of the Attic Horae. She personified spring and was associated with youth and growth. She granted vitality to the young shoots of plants. With her soft spring rain she made them grow.
One day she became very ill and could no longer provide rain. The plants withered and the whole earth turned into a wasteland...
