Sinope

Sinope was a daughter of the war god Ares. Each day she walked along the battlefields of her father. The god Apollo saw her and fell deeply in love with her. Because he didn’t want to provoke her father, he hid in a hut from where he could observe her.

The next day he was desperately yearning for her body. When she passed by he showed himself for a brief moment in the window to awake her curiosity and encourage her to come nearer. Reluctantly she approached and finally she entered the hut.

She accused Apollo of voyeurism and turned down his passionate pleas. He offered her any gift she desired if she would be willing, and promised to fulfil her wish on site.

Sinope agreed. She wished virginity…
