Psyche
There was a king who had three handsome daughters. One of these children was Psyche, who in antiquity was considered the personification of the soul. The girl was astonishing beautiful, which made Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, very jealous.
She had taken her son's bow away because Eros was always aiming his arrows at the wrong people. The kid was deeply indignant about that. With a false smile, Aphrodite gave him back his beloved bow on condition that he would kill Psyche.
Eros decided to carry out this task at night. He found her asleep in her bed. The moonlight fell on her face. Eros saw how wonderfully beautiful she was and fell instantly in love...
To all children killed by wars.
