Maenades

Maenades were nymphs who accompanied and worshipped Dionysus (god of wine, pleasure and dance). Every full moon they held an orgy in the temple where Dionysus blessed nymphs in love. The ceremony was, of course, strictly forbidden for men. (Dionysus was androgynous so he didn't count.)
