Iris

Iris was the personification of the rainbow. She was a messenger of the gods. She brought people together but always remained out of reach herself. 

Iris had an Ethiopian girlfriend named Maryam. One day the girls got into a fight about color. According to Iris, brown was better than white, because white people lie in the sun to tan. According to Maryam, white was better because you could choose: stay white or turn brown. Finally, a helpful crab explained that red is the very best color.

But Maryam didn't listen; she non-stop complained that she couldn't reach Iris...
