Europa
The myth of Europa began when the ruler of the Olympian gods glimpsed the girl one day. Zeus was instantly overcome by her beauty and grace. He came up with a plan: he changed himself into a glorious white bull and swam to the shore on which Europa was daydreaming. The bull was so handsome and gentle, that the maiden caressed and pampered him.
In time, Europa felt comfortable enough with the bull to climb upon his back for a little ride. As soon as she was seated, the bull went back to the sea, carrying her with him…
