Electra

Electra was a daughter of Agamemnon, king of Mycenae, and his wife Clytemnestra. Electra loved her father very much. When the news arrived that Agamemnon was returning from the Trojan war, Electra was 20. She had not seen her father for ten years. She impatiently waited on the beach to welcome him.

Her mother however had a love affair with Aegisthus, Agamemnon's nephew, and she didn’t show signs of pushing this man out of her bed because they wanted to become the rulers over Mycenae. So the couple planned to kill the king. Agamemnon was friendly welcomed in his palace but as soon as he took a bath they murdered him with an axe…
