Andromeda

Andromeda was the daughter of the Ethiopian king Cepheus and queen Cassiopeia. Her mother boasted that her daughter was more beautiful than each of the 50 daughters of the sea god Poseidon. To punish the queen for her arrogance, he sent a sea monster to ravage the coast of Ethiopia.

The desperate king consulted the Oracle of Apollo. The Oracle indicated that no redemption could take place before the King had sacrificed his daughter Andromeda to the sea creature. Stripped naked, she was placed on the beach.

Perseus was just returning from slaying Medusa and noticed the sneaky approaching monster and the abandoned girl. His sandals gave him wings, his helmet made him invisible, and the head of Medusa was a lethal weapon, but could he rescue the helpless Andromeda?
