Agave

Agave was a Maenad, a companion of Dionysus, Greek god of the wine. Maenads took care of the vines. But Agave neglected her task. She let the leaves wither. In desperation, she begged her lord for help.

 Dionysus came to her and explained that plants need water. The vines were well-nigh dead but if Agave showed him her gratitude, he would give them his divine water and revive them. So said, so done...
